Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information complyarmor.com (the "Site") collects, how it's used, and your rights over it. The Site is operated by Comply Armor Technologies Private Limited ("ComplyArmor", "we", "us"), registered in Uttar Pradesh, India.
1. Information we collect
We keep this deliberately narrow. The Site collects:
- Contact form submissions. When you use the form on our Contact page, we collect the name, email address, target sector, and message you provide, solely to respond to your inquiry.
- A local UI preference. If you switch between "technical" and "plain English" explanation modes, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key
ca_audience. It never leaves your device and isn't linked to you personally. - Standard infrastructure logs. Our hosting and network providers (Vercel and Cloudflare) automatically log standard technical data — IP address, browser user agent, timestamps, and requested URLs — for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes, consistent with their own privacy policies.
We do not currently run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts on the Site.
2. Cookies
The Site does not set any cookies — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything else. The only client-side data the Site stores is the single ca_audience localStorage entry described above, which is strictly functional (it remembers a display preference), never leaves your browser, and isn't used for tracking. Because the Site sets no cookies, there's no cookie banner — there's nothing to consent to. If that ever changes (for example, if we add product analytics), we'll update this section and add a consent mechanism before any non-essential cookie is set.
3. How we use it
- To respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form and follow up on demo requests;
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site;
- To remember your explanation-mode preference on return visits.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Who processes your data
Contact form submissions are relayed to us via FormSubmit, a third-party form-processing service, which delivers the submission to our inbox at info@complyarmor.com. The Site is hosted on Vercel and served through Cloudflare's network. Each of these providers processes limited technical data as part of delivering the Site to you, under their own privacy policies.
5. Data retention
We retain contact form inquiries for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request and maintain business records, after which we delete or anonymize them. Infrastructure logs are retained by our hosting and network providers per their standard retention windows.
6. Your rights
If you're in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to access, correct, and request erasure of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. If you're in the EEA or UK, you may have comparable rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR. If you're a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we hold and to request its deletion — though given how little we collect (see Section 1), there's rarely much to request. 7. Security
The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS. We rely on our infrastructure providers' security controls (DDoS protection, TLS, access controls) to protect data in transit. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
The Site is a business-to-business resource and isn't directed at, or intended for use by, children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site or our practices change. The "Effective date" above reflects the most recent revision.
